Head of Compliance (m/f/d)

Your tasks

The Head of Compliance is responsible for executing and setting strategic directions for the Majorel Compliance Program. This role serves as a compliance business partner for Majorels international business units and advises the business on compliance solutions related to strategic matters, as well as day-to-day activities. The Head of Compliance works closely with other Majorel Corporate functions and is expected to keep an independent and critical view of the governance mechanisms present in the Company. We are looking for an empathic leader with a balanced assertiveness and high integrity, who drives improvement on a daily basis.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

 Manage and execute the Corporate Compliance Program and its sub programs; ensure the program remains relevant through time by monitoring applicable regulatory changes

  • Ensure adequate oversight and integration of the Compliance community and programs
  • Ensure the deliverables set in the Compliance Charter are met
  • Ensure the standards of deliverables and level of oversight match those of a listed company (e.g.: Insider trading, SOX, ISAE 3402, COSO integrated controls framework, etc.)
  • Manage Risk and Compliance Committee meetings
  • Responsible for consolidated statistics publications as agreed with Boards and Shareholders
  • Ensure that the relevant Boards and Committees are consulted in relation to program strategy, coverage and policy making
  • Represent the Compliance function in various specialized committees and projects
  • Oversee readiness and onboarding of new global scope such as M&As and expansion into new countries/markets
  • Manage a team of 3-4 direct reports including onboarding, coaching, training and succession planning

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s degree preferred, in a relevant discipline (Ethics, Compliance, Law or Corporate Governance)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in regulatory compliance with direct responsibilities
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in people management including management in a matrix environment
  • Ability to balance regional interests with corporate priorities and compliance requirements for a rapidly expanding business in a fast paced, dynamic, multi-national company
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and driving compliance efforts remotely while working with virtual teams
  • Solid experience in a global listed company environment (regulatory and cultural)
  • Business Fluent in English (oral and written)
  • Location Europe, preferably Ireland
